Logitech Unveils M240 Bluetooth Mouse In India: Cost & Accessibility

Logitech, a tech company headquartered in Switzerland, has introduced the M240 Silent Bluetooth Mouse in India. According to the company, this wireless mouse is simple to connect.

Priced at Rs 1,595 in India, the Logitech M240 mouse is now available for purchase from Logitech in graphite, rose and off-white color options.

Features of the Logitech M240 mouse

With fast and easy Bluetooth technology, the M240 can be seamlessly connected to any computer or tablet. It has a wireless range of up to 33 feet. The mouse also has an 18-month battery life and features such as automatic sleep mode.

Logitech claims previous research has shown that working on a laptop with a mouse like the M240 Silent is 30 percent faster and 50 percent more productive than a trackpad. The mouse supports ultra-quiet clicks and up to 90 percent click noise. However, it retains a satisfying click feel.

The M240 Silent is ambidextrous and can be used by both left- and right-handed users. The product is also certified as carbon neutral, like all Logitech products. The plastic parts of the M240 Silent Bluetooth mouse are 48% recycled (PCR) plastic (in the graphite model).

Logitech recently announced that Bracken Darrell, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), is leaving the company to pursue a new opportunity. “Darrell’s resignation as president, CEO and board member of Logitech is effective today,” the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

However, he will remain with the company for the next month to ensure a smooth transition. “After nearly a decade of continuous growth and building market leadership in multiple categories, I think this is a good time to hand over leadership,” Darrell said.

Board member Guy Gecht will assume the role of interim CEO while a global search is conducted for internal and external candidates.
